I’m wondering, cutting out the “middle man” (the industry) in order to get 90% of the revenue — ok I get that. However, what good would it really be if 90% of that revenue doesn’t come close to the total percentage that’s acquired while the “middle man” is in charge. What I’m saying is, the industries actually do a hell of an amazing job promoting their artist. They’re the ones that provide them with budgets for everything. From studio rentals for their sounds, down to the budget for mind-blowing music videos… and what about upcoming artists? I’m not here defending the ppl who shut down MegaUpload, the industry needs to actually chill the fuck out, but I’m just saying… what about that side of the story??? if it makes sense you know
